as above may also be allowed as per the provisions <strong>of</strong> sub-division <strong>of</strong><br />

allotted land / plots as mentioned above in <strong>Rule</strong> 17-(B).<br />

17- (D) : Delegation <strong>of</strong> Powers:<br />

The powers <strong>of</strong> sub-division <strong>of</strong> allotted land/plot will be exercised by the<br />

Unit Head concerned, except the cases covered under the category 17-<br />

(B)-(iii)-b, which will be decided by the Head Ofiice committee,<br />

comprising <strong>of</strong> Advisior Infra, ( head <strong>of</strong> the committee), Sr. RM (P&D ),<br />

Mgr (Plan/Dy TP) and the Unit Head concerned.<br />

17-(E) : Sub-division <strong>of</strong> large size industrial plot will be made on fulfillment <strong>of</strong> the<br />

following eligibility conditions:<br />

(i) Plot having area 10,000 sqm. and above; and<br />

(ii) the unit has come into production at least five years before the date <strong>of</strong><br />

application for sub-division <strong>of</strong> plot; and<br />

(iii) the unit is a closed/sick/has suffered loss, at least during the last 3<br />

financial years; and<br />

(iv) The allottee declares that such land is not needed for their current/ future<br />

operations/ expansion.<br />

Having met the eligibility conditions mention at (i) to (iv) above, sub-division <strong>of</strong> an<br />

industrial plot will be allowed on the following terms and conditions:<br />

(i) If a large size plot has been created by clubbing/merger <strong>of</strong> various small<br />

size plots then the original status-quo ante existing at the time <strong>of</strong> allotment<br />

would be restored.<br />

(ii) The alignment and road width <strong>of</strong> the roads shall be maintained as per the<br />

original lay out plan, wherever applicable.<br />

(iii) The allottee will develop and provide all the basic infrastructure facilities<br />

like road, drains, power line, street light, water supply etc. at their own<br />

cost to such sub-divided plots/land. These facilities will be developed by<br />

the applicant as per the norms and guidelines <strong>of</strong> <strong>RIICO</strong> and will be<br />

surrendered and handed over to <strong>RIICO</strong> after completing the above<br />

infrastructure development.<br />

(iv) In case the allottee has availed financial assistance from any<br />

Banks/Financial Institutions against security <strong>of</strong> the land/plot proposed for<br />

sub-division, the allottee will submit 'No Objection Certificate' from the<br />

concerned Financial Institution/Bank before issuing the permission for<br />

sub-division.<br />

(v) Sub-divided plots will be used only for the industrial purpose.<br />

(vi) The layout plan <strong>of</strong> proposed Sub-division submitted by the allottee to<br />

<strong>RIICO</strong> will be examined and approved by a Committee headed by MD,<br />

and comprising <strong>of</strong> Advisor (Infra), Manager (Planning)/DTP and Unit<br />

Head concerned.
