(vi) Concessions for the categories specified in <strong>Rule</strong> 3 (A) & 3 (C) are applicable for<br />

industrial plot allotments for setting up industries only. These concessions would not be<br />

applicable to the allotments made under Tatkal Plot Allotment Scheme or Auction.<br />

(Clarified as per IDC decision taken vide item 9 on 4.7.2001)<br />

(vii) *(a) Reservation <strong>of</strong> 2% plots for ex-servicemen/ war widows, 1% plots for disabled<br />

persons and 5% plots for women entrepreneurs and SC/ST category<br />

entrepreneurs (inserted as per the Board decision taken on 16.12.2004), <strong>of</strong> total<br />

number <strong>of</strong> plots up-to ceiling sizes planned in an industrial area shall be kept till<br />

the plots up-to ceiling size are vacant. The said reservation <strong>of</strong> industrial plots for the<br />

above various categories will be maintained even after the industrial area gets saturated<br />

and allotment <strong>of</strong> these plots will be made at the prevailing rate <strong>of</strong> allotment, with the<br />

admissible upfront concessions.<br />

(b) Reservation <strong>of</strong> 30% plots for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in new<br />

industrial areas to be developed by <strong>RIICO</strong>.<br />

(inserted in pursuance <strong>of</strong> the provision 6.2 <strong>of</strong> the 'Policy Package for Micro, Small and Medium<br />

Enterprises, 2008', annonced by the State Govt and as per approval by the IDC w.r.t. item (14) <strong>of</strong><br />

its meeting held on 15.4.2008. Note appearing earlier at s.no ( v), deleted as per approval <strong>of</strong> IDC<br />

vide item 3 <strong>of</strong> its meeting held on 18.2.11.inserted as per item 31 <strong>of</strong> the meeting held on 5.12.2011.<br />

inserted as per item 19 <strong>of</strong> the meeting 9.3.2012 )<br />

(viii) The allottee may keep registered <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the company out <strong>of</strong> Rajasthan under<br />

intimation to the Corporation. (Decided by IDC vide item 10 on 25.3.2006)<br />

3 (B). Allotment <strong>of</strong> land to industry related Research and Development centers:<br />

<strong>Land</strong> may be allotted on prevailing industrial rate. However, a 10% rebate in the rate for<br />

the plot measuring minimum <strong>of</strong> 10,000 sqm. for setting-up <strong>of</strong> R & D Centers/<br />

Laboratories, tools rooms, prototype development centers and institutes for specific<br />

disciplines related to industries etc. in non-saturated industrial areas by private<br />

institutions engaged in industrial research and development may be allowed. The rebate<br />

shall be allowed only in case <strong>of</strong> dedicated projects <strong>of</strong> R & D and shall not be allowed if<br />

only the part plot is used for R & D. For plot size <strong>of</strong> more than 10,000 sqm. this rebate<br />

shall increase @ 0.5% per 1,000 sqm., but maximum rebate shall be 25% on both<br />

counts put together. An additional 10% rebate in rate <strong>of</strong> development charges shall also<br />

be allowed by way <strong>of</strong> reimbursement if the private institution makes a minimum<br />

investment <strong>of</strong> Rs. 50 crores within a period <strong>of</strong> five years, on minimum size <strong>of</strong> plot <strong>of</strong><br />

20,000 sqm. (Policy amended as per IDC decisions taken vide item 7 on 12.10.2004).<br />

Rebate @ 2% in allotment rate shall also be allowed if 100% development charges are<br />

paid alongwith application form. The private institutions may also opt to pay 75%<br />

development charges in 7 quarterly installments alongwith interest in two years period,<br />

as permissible to industrial plot allottees. (Substituted as per IDC decision taken vide<br />

item 3 on 14.2.2002).<br />

3 (C). Rebate on allotment <strong>of</strong> larger size industrial plot:<br />

For setting up an industry in non-saturated industrial areas, a 10% rebate in the rate <strong>of</strong><br />

development charges on industrial plot allotment measuring minimum <strong>of</strong> 10000 sqm.<br />

and an additional rebate <strong>of</strong> 0.5% per 1000 sqm. over and above 10,000 sqm. shall be<br />

allowed subject to maximum rebate <strong>of</strong> 25%.
