15. RATES , TAXES ,<br />

15(A). SERVICE<br />

CHARGES<br />

will not bear any cost. This condition is required to<br />

be incorporated in the relevant terms and<br />

conditions.<br />

(vi) Where exclusive feeder, directly from sub station,<br />

is required by any plot allottee, the complete cost<br />

will be borne by the applicant.<br />

(vii) In cases <strong>of</strong> industrial areas where power supply<br />

arrangements are not to be undertaken by <strong>RIICO</strong><br />

as stipulated in plot allotment letter, the entire cost<br />

<strong>of</strong> electrification will be borne by the applicant.<br />

(viii) If any extra financial burden has come upon the<br />

plot allottee due to change in the policy <strong>of</strong> the<br />

concerned State Power Utility, the same would be<br />

borne by the allottee.<br />

Where shifting <strong>of</strong> existing power lines passing over the<br />

plots are desired by the plot allottees, the cases will be<br />

examined on the merits and if SPU agrees for shifting,<br />

the cost will be shared between <strong>RIICO</strong> and plot allottees<br />

in the ratio <strong>of</strong> 50-50. The cost to be borne by the plot<br />

allottees will be shared by all the effected plot allottees<br />

in proportionate to the length <strong>of</strong> penetration <strong>of</strong> power<br />

line in the plot. When all the affected entrepreneurs do<br />

not agree for bearing the cost <strong>of</strong> shifting, initially, the<br />

cost will be borne by <strong>RIICO</strong> which will be recovered<br />

subsequently from them. In the cases where State Power<br />

Utilities agree to share the cost <strong>of</strong> shifting in accordance<br />

with their norms, the remaining cost will be shared in<br />

the manner as above. (Decided by IDC vide item 13 on<br />

21.10.2005)<br />

All kinds <strong>of</strong> rents, taxes, charges, claims which the<br />

Municipal Board / Council / Committee / Panchayat<br />

Samiti or any other Civil Body may hereinafter impose<br />

in respect <strong>of</strong> the land allotted and building erected<br />

therein shall be payable by allottees directly to the<br />

authorities concerned.<br />

The service charges as imposed by the Corporation at<br />

the time <strong>of</strong> allotment or thereafter shall be payable by<br />

the allottee in addition to Economic rent. Service<br />

charges shall be paid within sixty days from the date <strong>of</strong><br />

land allotment for current financial year. For the<br />

subsequent financial year it shall become due on 1 st<br />

April <strong>of</strong> each financial year and be paid in advance by<br />

31 st July <strong>of</strong> every year.<br />

Notes : (a) The Corporation reserves the right to revise<br />

the rate <strong>of</strong> service charges from time to<br />

time and the decision <strong>of</strong> the Corporation
