NEOHESPERIDINE DC The safety of neohesperidine DC was confirmed in 1987 by the Scientific Committee for Food (SCF) of the European Commission. Neohesperidine DC is an authorized sweetener in the European Parliament and Council Directive 94/35/EC of 30 June 1994 on sweeteners for use in foodstuffs.
