SPECIAL CONDITIONS<br />

1. The medicine should be of latest standards and should have minimum 75% shelf life left under<br />

normal storage condition at the time of supply.<br />

2. The rates quoted should be as basic price, rate of tax and total price<br />

3. All offers should be from ready stock in the original packing of the manufacturer.<br />

4. Packing and containers of drugs shall be as prescribed in pharmacopeias or drugs and<br />

cosmetics Rules 1945. Containers made of good plastics must be used for those items which<br />

are to be supplied in plastic containers.<br />

5. The Security Deposit furnished will be released only after satisfactory completion of the contract.<br />

6. The rates should be for delivery F. O. R at any part of the district.<br />

7. Ex-go down rates and F. O. R station of Despatch rates offered by the firms are not acceptable<br />

and such tenders will be summarily rejected.<br />

8. The quantities specified in the schedule are only approximate and they may vary according to<br />

actual need.<br />

9. The successful tenderers should complete all supplies with in the stipulated time stated in the<br />

supply orders. <strong>No</strong> extension of supply period will be granted.<br />

10. The non-availability of raw materials, price hike of raw materials, transportation problems etc will<br />

not be accepted as reasons for non-supply or late supply.<br />

11. The rates should be quoted in Indian Currency, and payment will be made in Indian Currency<br />

only.<br />

<strong>12</strong>. The undersigned reserves all rights to cancel the tender without assigning any reason thereof.<br />

13. The only jurisdiction for any dispute regarding this purchase will be at Thrissur.<br />

Specifications<br />

Item 1. High Performance Premium Portable Black and white Ultrasound Scanner with in- built battery<br />
