Ah ! but the balmy breath of spring<br />

SUZUKI<br />

(appears on the terrace and holds out a large bunch of flowers and foliage to <strong>Butterfly</strong>)<br />
Here's more, dear mistress.<br />
BUTTERFLY<br />
(taking the bunch)<br />

(<strong>Butterfly</strong> distributes the flowers about the room, while Suzuki goes back to the garden)<br />
