Perfectly delighted with the paintings and the
screens, the family, Mr. Honda, and two or three
friends of Mr. Rai who had dropped in sat up
till near midnight enjoying and talking over the
artist's work.
"It is as wonderful as a series of paintings as
are the chapters of Rai Sanyo's book as literature,"
said one of the visitors.
