<strong>Perrysburg</strong> High School boys tennis team schedule announced<br />

The <strong>Perrysburg</strong> High School boys tennis season is<br />

currently under way. The team is poised to win ano<strong>the</strong>r<br />

Nor<strong>the</strong>rn Lakes League championship. Last week <strong>the</strong><br />

team defeated Central Catholic, Bowling Green and<br />

Maumee to start out <strong>the</strong>ir season.<br />

A few <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> key players in <strong>the</strong> singles 1, 2 and 3 spots<br />

are junior and two-time state qualifier Jeffrey Schorsch,<br />

sophomore Troy Weider and senior Zach Mills.<br />

The Yellow Jackets graduated a few key doubles players<br />

from last year’s team, but juniors Grant Lauer and<br />

Tyler Freeman have stepped in to provide solid tennis by<br />

winning key matches.<br />
