until 1:30 P.M. local time on<br />

Wednesday, September 26,<br />

<strong>20</strong>12, for the purchase <strong>of</strong><br />

one Turn-Key Cab and Chassis<br />

with All Snow Removal<br />

Equipment in accordance<br />

with the Specifications now<br />

on file in the <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> said<br />

Director <strong>of</strong> Public Service,<br />

and at that time and place<br />

publicly opened and read<br />

aloud. All Bids shall be<br />

signed and enclosed in a<br />

sealed envelope marked<br />

“Turn-Key Cab & Chassis<br />

with all snow removal<br />

equipment” and addressed<br />

to the Director <strong>of</strong> Public<br />

Service. Each Bid shall contain<br />

the name <strong>of</strong> every person,<br />

firm, or corporation<br />

interested in same, and must<br />

be accompanied by either a<br />

Bid Bond to the satisfaction<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Director <strong>of</strong> Public<br />

Service or a Certified Check,<br />

on a solvent bank, in the<br />

amount <strong>of</strong> ten <strong>percent</strong><br />

(10%) <strong>of</strong> the amount <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Bid, made payable to the<br />

City <strong>of</strong> <strong>Perrysburg</strong>, as a guarantee<br />

that if the Bid is accepted,<br />

a Contract will be<br />

entered into and its performance<br />

properly secured.<br />

Bidders shall submit with<br />

their Bid, the affidavit required<br />

under Ohio Revised<br />

Code Section 5719.042, that<br />

the Bidder is not charged<br />

with any delinquent personal<br />

property taxes in<br />

Wood County, Ohio.<br />

Bids received after the<br />

scheduled Bid opening date<br />

and time, or not accompanied<br />

by a satisfactory Bid<br />

Bond or Check, will neither<br />

be read nor considered.<br />

The City <strong>of</strong> <strong>Perrysburg</strong> reserves<br />

the right to reject any<br />

or all Bids and to waive any<br />

irregularities in bidding and<br />

to accept any bid which<br />

meets or exceeds these specifications<br />
