Two people die in Rte. 20 accident 

Two people have died and 

three others were injured after 

a collision on U.S. Route 20 

and Tracy Road in Perrysburg 

Township last Thursday. 

According to the Bowling 

Green post of the Ohio Highway 

Patrol, the crash occurred 

at 5:09 p.m. on Route 20 

when a vehicle, driven by 

Dustin M. Kominek, 24, of 

Toledo, lost control on the 

snow covered road. 

Mr. Kominek was traveling 

eastbound on Route 20 

when he apparently lost control 

of his vehicle on a snowcovered 

section of the road, 

explained Lieutenant Jerrod 

Savidge. 

His car came to rest on the 

westbound side side of Route 

20 and was subsequently 

struck on the passenger side 

by a vehicle driven by Melissa 

S. Domanowski, 33, of 

Toledo. 

Killed in the accident was 

Mr. Kominek’s wife Rachel 

M. Kominek, 26, who was

All occupants were wearing 

seatbelts at the time of the 

crash, except for Mr. 

Kominek. Alcohol is not believed 

to be a factor in the accident, 

which remains under
