Ridge Stone Builders and Developers,
located at 3102 Steeple Chase,
develops and constructs single-family
homes and commercial properties.
Owned by Tim, Brian and Matt
Gruber, Ridge Stone constructs homes
and produces residential and commercial
subdivisions. The Grubers have
been building and developing for
more than 35 years. Ridge Stone was
formed to cater to first-time homebuyers
and “empty-nesters.”
In the past four years, the company
has expanded to include commercial
projects and continues to grow
throughout Ohio.
“We pride ourselves in our philosophy,
‘the small things make a big dif-
ference.’ We are a family-owned business
who believes in quality and fine
workmanship. We want the building
process to be fun,” said Tim Gruber.
Currently, the Grubers are developing
the River’s Edge subdivision off
Fort Meigs Road, just south of Perrysburg
High School. River’s Edge is
a maintenance-free community of single-family
homes. Lawn mowing and
snow removal is provided for all
homeowners. Ponds with fountains,
walk-paths and a clubhouse are additional
features of the neighborhood.
Ridge Stone’s other projects under
way are the development of Horseshoe
Bend, located off Roachton
Road, just east of PHS, and Harbor-
Town Place, the area’s first waterfront
commercial development. Horseshoe
Bend is a traditional single-family
neighborhood that offers homes from
$170,000 to $300,000.
“We use the same sub-contractors
who built $1 million homes,” Mr.
Gruber explained. “They have brought
their talent to the $170,000 to
$300,000 homes.”
HarborTown Place is constructed
around its signature lighthouse and a
man-made lake. It offers Jed’s Barbeque
and Brew, and is negotiating
with other restaurants that want to
serve large lunch crowds.
Ridge Stone also has received multiple
awards from Habitat for Human-
ity. The company has constructed a
home for the charity for eight years
consecutively. Working in conjunction
with its team of sub-contractors, the
business gives back to the community
by donating time, materials and ultimately,
a home every year to a needy
family.
“We believe in true teamwork,”
Mr. Gruber said. “We have worked
with our sub-contractors to help others
like Habitat for Humanity and soldiers’
families who are in need.”
Serving on the Habitat for Humanity
board, Ridge Stone also helped
build a large home for the Nuzum
family, which includes more than 20
special needs children.
www.ridgestonebuilders.com
Ridge Stone Realty is a full service
real estate brokerage. Our expertise
helps guide clients through the entire
real estate transaction. Ridge Stone Realty
is owned by Dan McQuillen (broker/manager)
Tim Gruber, Brian Gruber
and Matt Gruber.
In 2005 the Ridge Stone Builders approached
Dan and discussed opening a
real estate brokerage. After two years of
preparation and planning, the brokerage
was opened in 2007. With the establishment
of both businesses, anyone who
was looking to build a new home with
Ridge Stone Builders could use Ridge
Stone Realty to sell their previous home.
This made Ridge Stone a one stop shop
for transitioning from one house to the
next.
Since opening in 2007 Ridge Stone
Realty has added 2 agents to the sales
force, Jim Hutchinson and Rose Toth.
Jim brings a number of years experience
to Ridge Stone. Jim is a dynamic problem
solver and uses his creativity and
experience to get transactions to the
closing table. Rose owns an interior design
business, Rose Custom Interiors. In
2009 she was voted by the Toledo City
Paper as the designer of the year. She
uses her interior design background to
help clients stage their houses for a
smooth sale.
Ridge Stone Realty is heavily involved
in the community. We sit on
many different boards and committees.
Some of which include Mike Bell’s transition
team, EPIC, Leadership Toledo,
Toledo Chamber of Commerce, Toledo
Board of Realtors, Ohio Association of
Realtors, National Association of Realtors
and many more. Our realtors also
engage in multiple networking activities
such as EPIC’s Social Club and Economic
Development Committee, N4S,
Powercoffee, and the Wood County
Economic Development Commission.
Ridge Stone Realty’s future goals are
controlled growth through selective hiring
and market penetration. We are looking
for someone who believes “it is the
little things that make the big difference.”
We want agents who communicate
with their clients on a regular basis
and agents who are willing to be active
in the community.
