J.B.’s Sarnie Shoppe
4195 Levis Commons Boulevard • 419-931-1080
www.jbsarnieshoppe.com
In its first year at the Town Center at Levis
Commons, J.B.’s Sarnie Shoppe, named after
a British term for sandwich, has become a top
destination for area residents looking for the
finest sandwiches, soups and salads.
After a combined 20 years of experience in
the local restaurant industry, co-owners Gareth
Jones and Bruce Bansbach shared a vision for
a deli that served high quality meats and
cheeses on freshly baked bread at a fair price.
J.B.’s Sarnie Shoppe is the realization of
that vision, offering gourmet sandwiches and
salads, two varieties of soup each day, and
freshly baked desserts such as cookies and
brownies. The shop also features a wide variety
of dressings and spreads made from scratch
and meats and cheeses available for purchase
by the pound. Other menu items include fresh
fruit smoothies and specialty salads such as antipasta,
tomato mozzarella, feta olive, macaroni
and potato.
“One of our more popular options now is
our pick two,” Mr. Bansbach said. That offer
includes any two of three items–a mini-sarnie,
cup of soup, or small salad–for $6.99.
Also a favorite among regulars is J.B.’s
$15.99 “Pounder Challenge,” a sandwich featuring
a pound of meat, four ounces of cheese
and two veggies, served with pickles or chips.
Guys who are able to finish the sandwich in
less than 30 minutes get a free T-shirt, and gals
can win the prize by eating it in less than an
hour. Anyone who conquers the pounder in
less than an hour gets to sign the rapidly-expanding
“Pounder Wall.”
With a faxable menu available for easy ordering,
J.B.’s Sarnie Shoppe is a convenient
option for customers in a hurry.
For those looking for a more relaxed experience,
J.B.’s features dine-in seating for more
than 40 people in an airy, comfortable atmosphere
with wi-fi available. Patio seating also is
available during the warmer months. The deli
also provides catering for parties of all sizes.
Located at 4195 Levis Commons Boulevard,
J.B.’s Sarnie Shoppe is open Monday
through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and
