Mineral Insulated Thermocouples / Resistance Thermometer
Mantelthermoelemente sind in feuerfestes Magnesiumoxid
verpresste Thermodrähte, die eine hohe Druckbeständigkeit, auch
bei extremen Bedingungen gewährleisten. Die Thermodrähte der
Thermopaare sind immer voneinander und vom Mantel isoliert.
Die Vorteile der Mantelthermoelemente liegen vor allem in der
Temperaturbeständigkeit und der Biegsamkeit der Mantelleitung.
Diese Biegsamkeit ermöglicht den Einbau an schwer zugänglichen
Messstellen.
Der minimalste Biegeradius beträgt 5 x Außendruchmesser der
Mantelleitung (min = d x 5). Auf Wunsch können die
Thermopaare auch mit dem Mantel verschweißt werden, wodurch
eine kürzere Ansprechzeit erreicht wird.

Mineral Insulated Thermocouples are in fi re resistant magnesium
oxide pressed thermo wires which ensures a high pressure
resistance even under extreme conditions. The thermo wires of
thermocouples are always insulated from each other and from the
sheath. The advantages of Mineral Insulated Thermocouples are
mainly temperature resistance and the fl exibility of the mineral
insulated cable. This fl exibility allows the installation into measuring
points that are to hard to reach.
The minimal bending radius is 5 times outer diameter of the mineral
insulated cable (min= d x 5). On request the thermocouples can
also be welded with the sheath to reach a quicker response time.
