Internship at Stanford University Libraries, Octther 1985, ombined with
visits to sai other East Duropean collections in the United States
Last year's issue of this issue inclnded a report on an internship of Dr.
Wojciecth Zaleweki at the library of J. G. Herder-Institut in MarborqJLahn
oirblned with visits to other places in the Federal Rublic of Germany.
Dr. Zalewski's Maxtuurg internship was part of a professional exduaie
agreement between the Slavic airatozs of Stanford University and the
Herer-Institut. This exchange was a pilot project for eventual later
excthanges between librarians fran several countries.
