Commerzbank Corporates & Markets appoints Sean Costello to its
European Leveraged Distribution Team
Commerzbank Corporates & Markets (CBCM) today announced it has hired Sean Costello as a Director
to its European Leveraged Distribution Team.
Mr Costello will join next month from HBOS where he was a Director in the Loan Distribution Group. He
will be based in London and brings more than ten years experience in the leveraged business to CBCM.
His extensive experience has been gained by his involvement in all aspects of the leveraged business -
origination, execution and distribution. Prior to HBOS, Mr Costello was with NIB Captial Bank N.V. for six
years in both the Leveraged Finance and latterly Loan Distribution Groups.
Mr Costello will be intimately involved in the structuring and distribution of CBCM’s European leveraged
loan product and will report to Tom Mulligan, Head of European Leveraged Distribution at CBCM.
CBCM’s Head of Corporate Finance, Roman Schmidt said, “With the European Leveraged Buy Out (LBO)
market continuing to grow at unprecedented levels, we believe that hiring Sean will enable us to continue
our successful expansion of our European leveraged franchise. We have made enormous progress with
our West European initiatives and his knowledge and experience will assist to further drive our business
forward."
