Commerzbank Corporates & Markets (CBCM) hires Dr. Harald Schönebeck as
Senior Corporate Finance Director to Corporate Finance Advisory team
Commerzbank Corporates and Markets has today announced the appointment of Dr. Harald
Schönebeck as Senior Corporate Finance Director in its Corporate Finance Advisory team. He
will be based in Frankfurt.
Dr. Schönebeck joins from Deutsche Bank Global Banking where he was Head of Client
Analytics. In this role for six years he was responsible for Deutsche Bank`s Company Risk
Analysis and Rating Advisory, with a primary focus on corporate clients in Germany and
Continental Europe. During this time he established strong relationships with numerous listed
companies as well as market leading privately held businesses.
Previously, Dr. Schönebeck was Managing Director at Business Angel Venture GmbH,
Cologne, a 100% Deutsche Bank Private Equity vehicle for direct investments in fast growing
companies. Prior to this he worked as Senior Relationship Manager and Head of Marketing
Strategies for the Corporate Banking Division of Deutsche Bank.
In his new role, Dr. Schönebeck will support CBCM’s larger corporate clients in structuring
solutions for complex financial requirements and by advising on strategic issues. Dr.
Schönebeck will report directly to Rolf Betz, Head of Corporate Finance Advisory.
