Commerzbank adds Head to Investment Grade Loan Team
Commerzbank Corporates & Markets today announces the hire of Alison Jenkins as
Head of its London Investment Grade Loan Distribution Team.
Jenkins joins CBCM from Bank of America where for the last eight years, she was a
key member of their Syndicated Finance division, and in recent years has held the
role of Managing Director and Head of EMEA Par Loan Trading. Before
this she held positions in the syndicated loan operations of Sumitomo Bank and ANZ.
Jenkins will be based in London and work closely with CBCM’s loan origination and
distibution teams in both London and Frankfurt. She will have particular emphasis on
transactions for customers in the UK and Western Europe. Her responsibilities
include DCM's secondary loan market trading and sales operations. Jenkins reports
to Michael Legeland, Head of Loan Distribution at Commerzbank.
Michael Legeland commented on the hire: “I’m delighted to welcome Alison, she
brings with her over 20 years of banking experience, most of which she spent in both
the primary and secondary syndicated loan market. In addition, Alison has for four
years served on the board of directors of the Loan Market Association.
He added: “Her hire will enable us to further develop our successful syndicated loans
platform. In particular, we will be better equipped to drive our business in Western
Europe and the UK forward and also to strengthen our ability to underwrite loans and
help with the capital efficient management of loan positions.”
