Dawn started her career in international tourism in 1971,
escorting luxury group tours to numerous countries. In
1980, Dawn joined the luxury tour operator, Hemphill-
Harris, where as Vice President, she was in charge of
operations of their luxury tours. In 1988, Dawn joined
Olson Travel-world as Vice President of Operations, where
she was responsible for tour operations and quality control.
In 1995, Dawn was brought to Travcoa to launch its
Independent Travel Department – designing, customizing,
and operating personalized travel worldwide. Dawn’s
dedication to Lakani Custom Tours and expertise in
worldwide operations has earned her a reputation as a
premier authority in luxury travel, along with the respect of
her peers in the travel industry.

Mary started her travel career in the tour and
convention department of the Hilton Hotels Corporation
in Chicago. In 1974, she joined Travcoa, and 28 years
later she remained an important player and a true asset
to its founders. Mary had the challenging task of
making travel arrangements for Dultz’s unrelenting
journeys to establish tourism in remote parts of the
world such as Easter Island, Papua New Guinea,
Cambodia, Bhutan, Patagonia, Oman, Yemen, Namibia
and western Africa. Mary’s experience ranges from
tour operations to financial responsibilities for overseas
accounts and vendor negotiations. Mary’s bring her
expertise in working closely with the legendary Mel
Dultz, to Lakani World Tours.
