Connecting Keyboards and Mice<br />
Connecting a Keyboard<br />
1. Locate the (purple) PS/2 port at the back <strong>of</strong> the computer.<br />
2. Properly orient the keyboard’s PS/2 connector with <strong>this</strong> port and<br />
gently push until the connector is fully inserted. Do not force the<br />
connector into the port. If you are unable to fully seat the connector,<br />
double-check its orientation with the port.<br />
If your keyboard uses a USB connection, insert its USB connector into an available<br />
USB port, located at the back <strong>of</strong> the computer.<br />
Connecting a Mouse<br />
1. Locate the (green) PS/2 port at the back <strong>of</strong> the computer.<br />
2. Properly orient the mouse’s PS/2 connector with <strong>this</strong> port and gently<br />
push until the connector is fully inserted. Do not force the connector<br />
into the port. If you are unable to fully seat the connector, double-<br />
check its orientation with the port.<br />
If your mouse uses a USB connection, insert its USB connector into an available USB<br />
port, located at the back <strong>of</strong> the computer.<br />
