Weight indications are approx. Deviations (+/- 5%) within working 

tolerances are possible and admissible. 

If special equipment is ordered, the payload specified is reduced by the 

weight of the requested option. 

If special equipment of other sub-suppliers/suppliers is built in, the 

payload will be reduced by the corresponding weights. 

The unladen weight as per EN1646-2 consists of: Empty weight of 

the vehicle in the respective base equipment or version incl. driver 

(75kg), full fuel tank, 100% of the fresh water tank and gas cylinder. 

The unladen weight (and the possible payload or number of persons) 

changes in case of different motorisation or extra equipment as well as 

installation of special equipment. Deviations within working tolerances 

are possible and admissible . 

The specified payload refers to the unladen weight as indicated in (1). 

The specified possible payload depends on the unladen weight and 

is reduced by the weight of the special equipment installed (the 

values can be found in the price list or be obtained by your dealer in 

case these are Frankia options). Provided that the load proportioning 

is adequate. We explicitly point out that passengers and luggage are 

part of the payload. 

The maximal payload for conventional load is determined as follows: 

75 kg per passenger, personal equipment (10 kg 

luggage per passenger and driver + 10 kg per meter of the vehicle 

length) and rest payload which can be used for installation of special 

equipment or additional luggage. 

The number of persons specified depends on the payload; i.e. if special 

equipment is installed, the number of persons might be reduced. (see 

(2) - nach EN1646-2) 

The vehicles are partly shown with options which are available at 

extra costs. 

Your FRANKIA dealer will be pleased to inform you about the standard 

equipment of the individual models. 

Deviations in working tolerances (+/- 5%) concerning the information 

about scope of delivery, dimensions and weights of the vehicles 

are possible and admissible. The information corresponds to the 

knowledge which was correct at time of printing and are valid for 

purchase and registration in Germany. This information can change 

until the purchase or delivery of the vehicle. Your FRANKIA dealer will 

be pleased to inform you about possible changes and the standard 

scope of delivery. 

Price, design, equipment are subject to change. 

Up to 12% rise: With increasing height the engine power is reduced. 

From 1000m above sea level and each further 1000 m, you have to reduce 

respectively 10% of the trailer weight of the combination weight. 

Every change of the state of the vehicle as it was when the motorhome 

left the factory can result in problems concerning driving safety 

and traffic safety. 

Options and original spare parts recommended by FRANKIA are 

developed especially for your vehicle and were released by us. Your 

FRANKIA dealer has these products for sale; he is informed about 

admissible technical details and he can carry out the necessary work 

competently. Optional parts, construction parts, reconstruction parts 

or installation parts which were not released by Frankia can result in 

damage of the vehicle or in problems concerning the traffic safety. 

They can also lead to the reduction of the possible payload. Even if 

there exists a certificate of an expert, a general type approval for parts, 

or a building permit for these parts, there is no supposition that the 

products are in suitable state. 

Please understand that for damage caused by products which were 

not released by FRANKIA or by changes which were not admissible, 

no liability is undertaken. 

Please pay attention to the fact that particularly for the installation of 

rear construction parts as motorcycle carrier, trailer coupling, or the 

load of the rear garage (depending on floor plan) the prescribed axle 

loads have to be respected. 

The prices specified for special equipment are only valid within the 

scope of new series production. Retrofit of special equipment is partly 

not possible or only possible at considerable additional expenditure.

The FF2 is a manageable, flexible car with only 3.5 t total 

weight but with a remarkable payload of approx. 500 kg. 

The motorhome 

for two 

Thanks to its clever technology, the FF2 is the 

ideal companion for couples who would like a 

small motorhome which offers the comfort of a 

bigger motorhome. Special feature: The round 

seating group in the rear can easily be converted 

to two comfortable beds – simply pull up the 

backrests of the seating group. There is enough 

space in the large drawer under the bed to store 

your sheets.

Perfect for two, 

but also ideal for four 

The brand new FF4 layout is the further development of 

the FF2. With his model, a couple can enjoy the 

advantages of a small and manageable vehicle and still 

be flexible enough to have further passengers e.g. grand 

children. In addition to the two separate beds in the rear, 

the large electric drop-down bed can be lowered from 

the ceiling and offers plenty of sleeping comfort for two 

further passengers. Another highlight is the newly 

developed table which can be moved without runners 

and still provides a safe stand due to its special

A good heating system in the motorhome is really important especially for 

travels in winter. With FRANKIA, you have the choice between 2 heating 

systems. 

FRANKIA has been offering the air heating TRUMA for a few years already. 

This heating system enables a rapid warmth production and is operated 

with gas. 

Alternatively, FRANKIA also offers the FRANKIA Polar heating (standard for 

ExclusivClass, LuxuryClass, PremiumClass and RoyalClass, option for the other 

classes). This warm water heating makes the heat distribution in the whole 

motorhome possible, from the cabin to the rear bed. As this system needs quite

If you travel in countries in which it is not often possible to clean up your sewage, 

FRANKIA offer for the LuxuryClass, PremiumClass and RoyalClass a dejection tank 80 l 

(option). The advantage is that you have the traditional Thetford cassette and you use the 

dejection tank with the help of a pump only when you need it. 

Thanks to the double floor concept of FRANKIA, the tank is situated in the double floor 

and remains frost free (down to -15°C).

A plus of storage space and comfort 

At last, the holidays start and you can find time for your hobbies. Thanks to the double floor in a FRANKIA motorhome you have all the storage space you need 

for your sports equipment. Golf or fishing equipment, skiing gear or snowboard, everything can be stored safely and theft-proof. 

Fresh and waste water tank are 

integrated in the double floor. 

Whole double floor can be completely used as 

storage room. 

All FRANKIA motorhomes on Fiat chassis as well as the CompactClass and HolidayClass models on Mercedes chassis have a real FRANKIA double floor. Thanks to the 

ALKO low frame chassis, all these models have a continuous double floor usable as storage space. FRANKIA stands for perfection and individuality even in details: 

For optimal use of the storage spaces FRANKIA designs a special double floor for each layout.

All ComfortClass and LuxuryClass motorhomes on Mercedes chassis are built on a Mercedes high frame chassis with FRANKIA double floor. Thanks to a step in the 

rear area the fresh and waste water tanks are installed in the heated double floor. Side lowerings on both sides provide more storage space. The upper rear area gets 

a tail unit which is now a striking characteristic in the design of the big FRANKIA motorhomes on Mercedes chassis.

The construction is crucial! 

The construction quality is one of the most important points when choosing your 

motorhome because it is essential for the living space climate and the stability of 

the motorhome. This is why FRANKIA expends special care to this point. 

With Frankia motorhomes, not only the roof and floor are out of GRP but also 

the outer walls. 

PU-rods

The FRANKIA construction concept is based on the well-tried glass 

fibre (GRP) outer skin with high-strength aluminium profiles instead of 

wooden profiles. This, combined with cleverly-devised damp-resistant 

insulation made of Styrofoam, results in a structure which decrees 

optimal climate characteristics. The Styrofoam insulation is moulded 

around the aluminium profiles for a better stability of the walls and to 

avoid thermal bridges.
