Alongwiththetransversephasespace,afullsix-dimensionalcharacterizationofthephasespacehas spacedensityoftheelectronbeamasitisstillinthespace-chargedominatedregime,butalsoin coherenttransitionradiationproducedbythebunchedelectronbeam.Thisinterferometerhasalso beenusedtoperformparametricstudyofthebunchlengthevolutionversussomeradio-frequency elementthatplayakeyroleinthebunchingscheme.
