As noted in Figure 1 above, the life cycle of an air-cleaning appliance product only<br />

includes the raw material acquisition, product manufacturing, use and waste disposal<br />

stages.<br />

Raw Materials Acquisition and Manufacturing Stage<br />

The LCA shall include information for the following unit processes:<br />

― Material extraction and manufacturing of main components and other<br />

components;<br />

― Manufacturing of main components and other components;<br />

― Product manufacturing/assembly;<br />

― Transportation of main components to product manufacturing site;<br />

― Transportation of other components to product manufacturing site.<br />
