2003 COLLECTION OF AUSTRALIAN STAMPS The 2003 Collection of Australian Stamps brings together the year’s diverse gummed stamps and miniature sheets along with the background stories to all the stamp issues. In a way that only stamps can, the 2003 Annual Collection refl ects on the year and provides a snapshot of Australia in 2003. The Annual Collection is produced in two editions: Deluxe and Executive. The editions feature identical content, varying only in cover and slipcase design, and page fi nishing. Deluxe Edition This edition uses a painterly, canvas texture in the rich earthy colours associated with the Australian outback and a cloth binding in a 18 dd Month YYYY complementing colour. The slipcase features bronze foil and embossed text. The cover image is Sidney Nolan’s 1946 Ned Kelly which was one of the featured paintings in Australian Paintings, a new fi ve year defi nitive series. Executive Edition This edition features a more traditional, classic cover treatment with matching black leather look cover and slipcase. The cover features gold foil embossed typography, brass corner protectors. This edition also features gilt-edged pages.
