Stamp designs for Special Occasion Booklets are
selected to refl ect the many reasons people send
personal correspondence. Each booklet includes
stamp panes interleaved with text and images
complementing the booklet’s theme. The stamps
in each pane in a booklet are identical, however
the pane designs vary.
All the booklets except Australian Greetings
include stickers to use on envelopes. Because
‘Australian Greetings’ is the international postcard
rate it includes two postcards (valued at
$1.00 each) instead.

Australia Post in 1999.
There are no fi rst day covers, FDI postmarks
or associated products with these booklets,
because the stamps are existing designs. The
original issue, content and face value of each
booklet is listed in the captions for the booklets
above and on the following page.
