LEARNING SKILLS 015C - OVERCOMING MATH ANXIETY (NDA) - 1.00 UNITS<br />

This course, LS15C – Overcoming Math Anxiety: Intermediate Algebra, is designed to reduce math anxiety and build self-confidence so<br />

that algebraic concepts of real numbers, first-degree equations and inequalities, systems of equations and inequalities, polynomials<br />

and exponents, rational expressions, rational exponents and radicals, quadratic equations and inequalities, functions and relations,<br />

exponential and logarithmic function, sequences and series, and conic sections will be comprehensible. Depending upon the<br />

diagnostic assessment outcome, students will be placed in an appropriate program. Students may enroll through the twelfth week of<br />

the semester. This course is open to all students. Grades are on a credit/no-credit basis. (RPT3)<br />
