use a range of analytic frameworks, including how the creative process is generated through myth and dreams as well as how race,<br />

class, and gender are portrayed in popular culture.<br />

ADVISORY: Business 1 or equivalent. DESCRIPTION: Students gain an understanding of international business, the dynamics between<br />

developed and developing countries, recent trends, how and why the world's countries differ, and implications to managers of<br />

international companies. The principles of international trade, including the central tenets of globalization, the new world order in<br />

the global economy, and the institutions that govern global trade will be covered. Topics include: globalization, foreign direct<br />

investment, political economies, regional economic integration, foreign exchange market, international monetary system, global<br />

capital markets, strategies of international organizations, and exporting, importing and counter-trade.<br />

regulatory agencies to export from the United States. Emphasis will be placed on how to determine if a commodity is acceptable for<br />

export and how to prepare the proper documentation required by the country of destination.<br />

United States regulatory agencies requirements to import to the United States. Emphasis will be placed on how to determine what<br />

duties commodities might be subject to and how to prepare and present to the Bureau of Customs the shipment and its document.<br />
