Grants are state and federal funds available to students that you never have to pay back.<br />
They include Federal Pell Grants (up to $5,550 per year); Cal Grants (as much as $1,551 per year for eligible California residents);<br />
Chafee Grants (up to $5,000 per year for former foster youth).<br />
