SOCCER ACADEMY FOR KIDS<br />

A soccer program for boys and girls who want to learn proper game techniques, including ball<br />

control, dribbling, passing & shooting. Team play and strategies will also be covered. Keep your<br />

body and mind healthy join this fun and exciting class. Instructor is fluent in English and<br />

Spanish. Bring soccer ball, soccer shoes and kneepads. Class is held off campus.<br />

DRAWING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE (Ages 9-17)<br />

Learn how to draw like a pro, get drawing tips and techniques on the objects you like to draw (people,<br />

animals, nature, buildings, aircraft, etc.). Watch your images come to life as your teacher gets you started in<br />

using led/color pencil, charcoal, shading techniques, light/dark contrast, 3 dimension and brightness just<br />

the professionals. Students are encouraged to bring their ideas & imagination.<br />

Bring led & color pencils, eraser and sketchpad to 1st meeting of class.<br />

PAINTING AND WATERCOLORS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE (Ages 9-17)<br />

Watercolor and Paint the most beautiful pictures ever!!!<br />

Your teacher will get you started in basic watercolor and paint brush stroke techniques. You will develop<br />

your natural and hidden artistic talents of visualizing and expressing everyday objects as watercolor images.<br />

Students will be given total encouragement and support in developing their artistic skills at their own pace.<br />

Instructor works for Disneyland as an artist and has showcased his works at art galleries throughout the<br />

U.S.A.<br />

Bring paper, pencil and basic watercolor set and brushes to class, please make sure at least one of your<br />

brushes is high grade and excellent quality. Teacher will address paint materials in class.<br />

No experience is needed.<br />

BALLET FOR KIDS<br />

This is an introduction to pre-ballet techniques for children. This program will focus<br />

on the basic positions, techniques, steps, and discipline of ballet. This workshop will<br />

also provide instruction on the correct use of the physical mechanics on motion,<br />

encouraging the spirit of dance in children.<br />

Have fun making a Vinegar Volcano, a Tornado in a bottle – even make some fake snot!<br />

Learn about our world and show your friends and family about your new scientific<br />

JUDO FOR CHILDREN (Ages 6-13)<br />

Judo is an official Olympic sport that offers self-defense skills in throwing & groundwork<br />

(grappling). Each class begins with warm-up exercises that increase cardiovascular and<br />

respiratory endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and agility. This is an introductory<br />

course that combines beginners with intermediate and advanced students. Students have the<br />

option of belt rank promotion. The Southern California Black Belt Association officially<br />

recognizes all belt ranks. Wear a long sleeve sweatshirt or judo uniform.<br />

TENNIS FOR CHILDREN & TEENS (Ages 8-18)<br />

Hey Kids, get your tennis rackets and have fun learning how to play tennis. Students will learn power<br />

positions for putting topspin and slice on the ball, plus other basics as needed for good movement. Join this<br />

action packed healthy sport and remember to bring 2 new cans of tennis balls to class and tennis racket<br />

that is right fit for child’s hand. No experience needed. Held off-campus in Griffith Park.<br />

Limited to only 8 students.<br />
