QUICKBOOKS FUNDAMENTALS CERTIFICATE PROGRAM I<br />
Learn the fundamentals of QuickBooks including, navigating the software, and setting up a<br />
company file, working with Lists, Bank Accounts, entering/paying bills, tracking/paying<br />
sales tax and reconciling bank accounts. This is a “hands on” course where students will use<br />
a computer to enter and process data. Limited to only 15 students. Certificate of<br />
Completion awarded upon completion of course.<br />

GRANT PROPOSALS: HOW TO FIND THEM AND HOW TO WRITE THEM<br />
There is a demand for good grant proposal writers in the public and nonprofit sectors,<br />
from Head Start childcare centers, schools, <strong>College</strong>s, Universities to faith-based<br />
organizations and community centers. Students will review basic steps toward seeking<br />
and writing promising grant proposals. Learn to identify community needs and budgeting<br />
costs to meet those needs, learn to ask for just the right amount of funding to fill that<br />
budget. Various types of grant proposals will be covered, from E-Forms to packet forms.<br />
Internet experience is recommended.<br />
