QUICKBOOKS FUNDAMENTALS CERTIFICATE PROGRAM I
Learn the fundamentals of QuickBooks including, navigating the software, and setting up a
company file, working with Lists, Bank Accounts, entering/paying bills, tracking/paying
sales tax and reconciling bank accounts. This is a “hands on” course where students will use
a computer to enter and process data. Limited to only 15 students. Certificate of
Completion awarded upon completion of course.

Orders, Estimates, Customizing Forms and Reports, Fixed Asset Recording with Depreciation, Long Term Note
amortization, Inventory tracking and adjusting, Petty Cash Accounting, Job Costing and Payroll set-up.
Limited to only 15 students. Certificate of Completion awarded upon completion of the course.

GRANT PROPOSALS: HOW TO FIND THEM AND HOW TO WRITE THEM
There is a demand for good grant proposal writers in the public and nonprofit sectors,
from Head Start childcare centers, schools, Colleges, Universities to faith-based
organizations and community centers. Students will review basic steps toward seeking
and writing promising grant proposals. Learn to identify community needs and budgeting
costs to meet those needs, learn to ask for just the right amount of funding to fill that
budget. Various types of grant proposals will be covered, from E-Forms to packet forms.
Internet experience is recommended.
