Over the years Adobe Illustrator has become the standard for vector illustration design. Artist, Illustrators<br />
and graphic designers use Illustrator to create vector-based graphics that can be easily rescaled without the<br />
loss of quality. You will work with designs, photos, line images and text to create eye-popping presentations<br />
that will put you in a new plateau of professional ability. This version from Adobe is compatible with all<br />
releases so what you learn here is easily adapted to other versions. Experience in windows, keyboard/mouse<br />

INTRODUCTION TO THE MAC<br />
Are you new to the Mac? Learn the history of this iconic platform, and build your way up to<br />
discover the fun and exciting things you and your Mac can do. Organize and clean up files with<br />
Finder; learn how to personalize; install programs; and learn iLife for easy management of<br />
photos and videos. All you need to get started to become a Mac genius begins here. Limited to<br />
only 7 students. Students are welcome to bring their own Macs if limit is reached.<br />

INTRODUCTION TO FILM EDITING<br />
This class introduces students to the basics of film editing including organizing the workspace,<br />
architecture, workflow, settings, capturing, importing, editing, rendering, and exporting<br />
video projects viewable to multiple platforms, including web streaming. Using Final Cut Pro,<br />
students will master the fundamentals of the interface; add innovative cuts, transitions,<br />
compositing, zooming, and framing shots for the greatest visual impact. Special emphasis will<br />
be placed on introducing the principles of film editing that work for all editing software.<br />
Prerequisite: Introduction to Mac OS X system, good knowledge of Apple keyboard and mouse, fluent in<br />
folder operations. Limited to only 6 students.<br />
