Is there more to computers than playing games,
watching videos or endless chatting? Be the creator
of your own digital stories, animations, games,
music and art. Bring your creativity and imagination
to this workshop and learn how to program with
Scratch AND have fun, too! Recommended ages:

MUSICAL KEYBOARDING FOR CHILDREN
Children will learn the correct fundamentals in
playing the piano: Topics covered: Development in
finger coordination, critical sense of listening;
notations in pitch and rhythm; discipline in good
practice habits with an appreciation of music
through the piano as well as basic written theory.
Solo-ensemble repertoire will also be introduced.
Ages: 6 & up. Intermediate requires: Basic
knowledge of music note reading. Intermediate
students will choose sheet music comparable
to their level. Limit is 12 students. Please bring
your own keyboard to class.

PAINTING AND WATERCOLORS
FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Watercolor and Paint the most beautiful
pictures ever!!! Your teacher will get you started in
basic watercolor and paint brush stroke techniques.
You will develop your natural and
hidden artistic talents of
visualizing and expressing
everyday objects as watercolor
images. Students will be given
total encouragement and support
in developing their artistic skills
at their own pace. Instructor
works for Disneyland as an artist
and has showcased his works at art galleries
throughout the U.S.A. Please bring basic
watercolor set, brushes, paper and pencil to 1 st
class meeting. Ages 9-17. Register early!

DRAWING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Learn how to draw like a pro, get drawing tips and
techniques on the objects you like to draw (people,
animals, nature, buildings, aircraft, etc.). Watch
your images come to life as your teacher gets you
started in using led/color pencil, charcoal, shading
techniques, light/dark contrast, 3 dimension and
brightness just the professionals. Students are
encouraged to bring their ideas & imagination.
Bring led & color pencils, eraser and sketchpad
to 1 st meeting of class. Ages 9-17.

DRAW COMIC BOOK & CARTOON
CHARACTERS LIKE THE PROS
Learn how to draw your favorite action Heroes and
Villains like Spiderman, Spawn,
Green, Lantern, Star Wars, Wonder
Women, or even the Simpsons.
You can even invent your own
cartoon characters! This class will
teach you important steps & secret
artist tips you need to create &
bring your cartoon to animation life.
If you always wanted to become a
cartoon super-action hero artist or
comic Villain artist, this class will greatly assist you.

GYMNASTICS FOR KIDS
This class is designed to teach basic gymnastic
skills to children with little or no experience.
Emphasis is on floor exercises and tumbling skills.
Gymnastic skills increase motor coordination
muscular strength, flexibility, and endurance.
Students will also acquire awareness about body
movement and physical fitness. Each class begins
with a comprehensive warm-up routine with an
emphasis on flexibility. Wear athletic clothing.

SINGING FOR CHILDREN
Enroll your child in this fun and popular singing
program at L.A.C.C. Help your child to soar and
expose their gift in singing. Students will learn
proper vocal and breathing techniques to
strengthen and bring out their full singing potential.
Your child’s confidence and singing abilities will be
enhanced tremendously. Each child will perform
solo and with the class. Limit 10 students.
