FRENCH FOR KIDS & TEENS<br />

French is a fun language spoken around the world.<br />

Students will partake in a wide range of activities<br />

from pronunciation of the alphabet, numbers,<br />

colors, days, weeks, months to useful<br />

conversations that will increase vocabulary and<br />

promote a cultural interest. Material fee of $22<br />

payable at time of registration is for cost of book,<br />

purchased the audio cd/book set. Parents are<br />

Public speaking is a skill and an art form that needs<br />

to be nurtured over time. The class focuses on<br />

speaking clearly, stage<br />

presence, organizing ideas,<br />

minimize speaking anxiety, and<br />

confidence building through the<br />

creation of memorable<br />

speeches. Let your child start<br />

sharing their ideas in front of an<br />

audience. Take advantage of this great opportunity<br />

for your child. Material fee of $5 payable in class.<br />

This class will assist and help students improve on<br />

their writing comprehension, grammar and<br />

vocabulary skills. This class will also concentrate<br />

on specific problem area’s students are having with<br />

classroom assignments and homework. Students<br />

will also learn the newest education writing formats.<br />

Homework assignments will be given. Children are<br />

welcome to bring their school books and classroom<br />

writing questions. Please bring pencil and writing<br />

tablet. Material fee of $8 payable at time of<br />

registration. Grades 3-6.<br />

This class will cover various levels of reading<br />

phonics, vocabulary, & composition<br />

addition, subtraction, patterns<br />

and geometry. Appropriate<br />

mathematical terms are introduced and explained.<br />

through drawing, painting and writing. Oral and<br />

written language are supported through age<br />

appropriate literature. Material fee of $3 payable<br />

limited to only 8 students!<br />

DRUMS FOR TEENS & ADULTS<br />

Playing the drums is a great way to have fun and to<br />

relieve stress even form a band. Learn to play<br />

Rock, Pop, Funk, and Blues, accomplish these<br />

beats even by the first class! Learn to read and<br />

write drum<br />

notations, gain<br />

effective practice<br />

techniques. Bring<br />

your favorite<br />

music CD’s to<br />

class; analyze<br />

and learn the<br />

drum beats of<br />

your favorite<br />

songs. Teacher<br />

will provide drum<br />

set. Please bring drum sticks and practice pad<br />

which can be purchased at Guitar Center or<br />

Sam Ash or any major music store. This class<br />

has a limited enrollment. Ages12+.<br />
