PAINTING & WATERCOLORS
Do you like to watercolor or have a passion for
painting? Welcome to all who
appreciate and enjoy this classic
and contemporary art forum.
This class will get you started in
basic painting acrylic/oils and
watercolors brush stroke
techniques with emphasis on
understanding/experiencing
color composition, value and design impact. Also
learn mixing colors, differing paint qualities,
application, and use of brushes. All are welcome!
Bring basic watercolor set, pad of watercolor
paper, acrylics, brushes and pencil to 1 st
meeting. Instructor works for Disneyland as an
artist and has showcased his works at art galleries
throughout the U.S.A.

DRAWING FOR EVERYONE
Learn how to draw like a pro; get drawing tips and
techniques on the characters or objects you like to
draw. See your images come to life! Wayne
Thomas will give you his professional attention in
helping to develop your hidden artistic talents using
led/color pencils, charcoal shading, light/dark
contrast, 3 dimension & brightness. Students are
encouraged to bring their ideas and imagination.
Please bring drawing and color pencils, eraser
and pad of paper to 1 st class meeting. Instructor
will address any additional materials in class.

CROCHET
This class will introduce you to crocheting. Students
will learn how to get started,
how to read yarn labels and
crochet patterns. You will
also be taught slip stitch, and
double crochet. Please be
sure to pick up a supply
list when you register for

BALLOON DECORATING & CENTER
PIECES
Let your imagination soar as you learn the
techniques for making beautiful balloon bouquets,
arches, columns and sculptures. This class will
teach you about supplies, materials, safety and
inexpensive resources in this fun, hands-on course.
Also learn a bunch of ways to blow up balloons
without having to huff and puff. You’ll become a
balloonatic!. Bring your camera to take photographs
of your beautiful balloon projects. Material fee of
$25 payable at time of registration - covers all
your supplies and use of helium tanks.

DRAW COMIC BOOK & CARTOON
CHARACTERS LIKE THE PROS
Learn how to draw your favorite action Heroes and
Villains like Spiderman, Spawn,
Green, Lantern, Star Wars,
Wonder Women, or even the
Simpsons. You can even invent
your own cartoon characters!
This class will teach you
important steps & secret artist
tips you need to create & bring
your cartoon to animation life. If
you always wanted to become a
cartoon super-action hero artist or comic Villain
artist, this class will greatly assist you. Ages 12+

FLORAL DESIGN - Beginners
Learn how to make sophisticated arrange beautiful
fresh flower arrangements for those special
occasions. This hands-on workshop allows you to
make your own masterpieces and express your
own artistic talents. You will take home a new floral
arrangement from each workshop. Material fee of
$40 payable at time of registration. Material fee
pays for fresh flowers instructor will provide at each
class meeting to complete all class projects. Bring

This class is a continuation of floral design I, with
emphasis on even more advanced floral
arrangements & techniques. Bring your imagination

wire cutters, a floral knife and newspapers. No
