HORSEBACK RIDING<br />

Introduction to Horseback riding: Learn grooming,<br />

tacking, mounting, dismounting, horse<br />

psychology, saddling, bridling, riding<br />

etiquette, equipment and basic balance<br />

at the various gates. Our instructors<br />

have taught hundreds of beginners<br />

to take that first trot! Class is held<br />

off campus at The <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Angeles</strong><br />

Equestrian Center. 16 years+. Limit 6 students<br />

per section. Riders must weight less than 195<br />

pounds. No enrollment cancellations will be<br />

allowed. First meeting is a mandatory orientation.<br />

Must have TES approved riding boots – all attire to<br />

be approved by TES. Students are required to<br />

attend the Traditional Equitation School tack class<br />

prior to 1st ride at TES – Wednesdays 7-9 p.m. and<br />

Saturdays and Sundays 1-3 p.m. Students can<br />

only enroll once; cannot repeat enrollment.<br />
