APPETIZERS & GARNISES<br />

Join cooking instructor Karine Arutyunyan as she<br />

demonstrates how to make healthy, simple and<br />

flavorful authentic Mediterranean appetizers -<br />

Babaganoush (barbecued eggplant dip); hommus<br />

(garbanzo bean dip) that does twice its job, working<br />

as tasty appetizers with toasted pocket bread or<br />

used with sliced vegetables as a delicious dip. Plus<br />

beet/walnut salad with its rich, creamy taste is a<br />

longtime favorite crowd pleaser, finally add a touch<br />

of garnishing for presentation. These inspirational<br />

appetizers will satisfy first time cooks & culinary<br />

experts. Students will taste/sample and take home<br />

these wonderful dishes from class. Bring 3 small<br />

this ever-popular, easy-to-learn instrument. From<br />

tuning the ukulele to easy chords—even buying the<br />

right ukulele, you’ll be on your way learning the<br />

songs you love and songs that bring family and<br />

case you don’t have one<br />

by class time. These<br />

ukulele classes filled-up fast the last two seasons it<br />

was offered so register early! Hey beginning &<br />

returning ukulele students, learn even more<br />

songs and ukulele techniques in the<br />

intermediate class session B. These popular<br />

MUSICAL KEYBOARDING FOR ADULTS<br />

Beginning students will learn to read basic music<br />

notes and proper finger and hand coordination.<br />

Individual instruction is emphasized according to<br />

each student’s level of experience. Intermediate<br />
