<strong>Kamik</strong> uses waterproof treated leathers and nylons then, working from the inside to keep water from<br />
entering waterproof tapes and/or sealants are applied to the seamed areas. As a result, no water can<br />
seep through the stitching and feet stay warm and dry.<br />
We use specially treated leathers and nylons that repels water and combine them with <strong>Kamik</strong>’s<br />
DriDefense waterproof & breathable bootie membrane. It lines the entire boot providing a superior<br />
waterproof barrier.<br />
To keep water from entering waterproof tapes and/or sealants are applied to the seamed areas. As a<br />
result, no water can seep through the stitching and feet stay warm and dry.<br />
Protection for when winter weather attacks. Water repellant uppers combined with waterproof shells<br />
help keep snow and slush out.<br />
A guide for cold weather protection. These ratings are based on laboratory and field-testing. The<br />
guides were developed to help determine particular needs. Other variables affect protection,<br />
including circulation, presence of moisture, body temperature, windchill and outerwear quality.<br />
Cold weather removable liners made by <strong>Kamik</strong>®. All liners are designed to provide superior warmth<br />
and moisture management.<br />
A unique microfiber developed by 3M. Thinsulate insulation is constructed of unique microfibers<br />
that trap air, retain body heat, and deliver warmth two times greater than down and other polyester<br />
insulations when equal thicknesses are compared. Thinsulate denotes boots that contain less than<br />
400-Gram, while Thinsulate Ultra Insulation is for levels above 400-Gram.<br />
A highly reflective material designed to increase visibility at night.<br />
