We are beginning a new Lions year and the clubs
have new goals established, so as IP Wayne
Madden said, “Lions, start your engines!”

Can it be July and the start of a new Lions Year?
By the time you read this DG Paul will be home
from the convention and the three of us will be
ready to start the New Year.
Please, when you prepare your budgets or plan
your giving for this year, remember to include a
donation of some amount to all of the following:
LCIF, LVRF, Lions Youth Foundation, Leader
Dog, Kiss-a-Pig, Diabetes, White Cane and Vision
Days. It appears that some of the clubs have
stopped giving to some of these worthwhile
charities. Let’s join together and make it 100% of
the clubs donating to all of these items.
Don’t forget to check in on the District 22W
Facebook Page and the District 22W Web Page.
They are constantly changing and contain a lot of
information and important dates.
I hope to see you all at the Change of Banner and
the District 22W Social.

Lion Kent Eitemiller, 1VDG
Hello, Lions, Lionesses, and Leos… Thank you for
your confidence in electing me as your 2 nd Vice
District Governor. It was very humbling to be
elected unanimously. I am looking forward to
serving along with DG Paul and 1 st Vice District
Governor Kent. This will be an exciting year, and
we WILL have FUN!
Lions always rise to a challenge, as evidenced in the
past two years of raising funds for LeaderDog. I
am very proud to announce that we had 100
percent participation from the clubs in our district
this year!
Remember, we are all volunteers. It is my desire to
see our clubs grow in membership and continue to
nurture and value our fellow lions, because there is
power in numbers. One by one, as “WE SERVE,”
with our actions and deeds in our communities, our
clubs, the district, and internationally, “Together
We Will Make A Difference.”
