<strong>DDCE</strong> ALUMNI ASSOCIATION<br />
The purpose of an <strong>association</strong> is to foster a spirit of loyalty and to promote the<br />
general welfare of the Directorate. Alumni <strong>association</strong>s exist to support the parent<br />
organization’s goals and to strengthen the ties between <strong>alumni</strong>, the community and<br />
the parent organization.<br />
MISSION<br />

The mission of the <strong>DDCE</strong> Alumni Association is to foster beneficial connections<br />
among <strong>alumni</strong>, students, faculty, administration, and staff. To implement this<br />
mission, the Association works with the Office of Alumni Services and other<br />
<strong>University</strong> staff to:<br />
Foster <strong>alumni</strong> pride and enhance the reputation of the <strong>University</strong>;<br />
Provide opportunities for <strong>alumni</strong> to volunteer their time and talents on behalf<br />
of the <strong>University</strong> and its students;<br />
Offer <strong>alumni</strong> theoretical and practical knowledge which will benefit their<br />
professional and personal lives;<br />
Provide <strong>alumni</strong> with the means to connect with other <strong>alumni</strong> for the<br />
exchange of information and ideas;<br />
Ensure that <strong>alumni</strong> have the means to communicate their accomplishments,<br />
interests, and concerns to other members of the <strong>University</strong>;<br />
Support the fundraising activities and priorities of the <strong>University</strong>; and<br />
Encourage individual <strong>alumni</strong> to provide financial support to the <strong>University</strong><br />
