3.7 Factory Overview
The control room program “Factory Overview” is a
logical addition to ToolsNet and its database. ToolsNet is
the melting pot for all tightening data. It indicates, even
at a later date, what was tightened when, where and
how and which tightening values were behind the OK
or NOK result. “Factory Overview” bundles all these
options into one real-time process monitoring operation
and allows all steps in the current tightening process to
be communicated, visualized and analyzed. The
program offers access to ToolsNet and its data memory,
as well as to ToolsTalk and WinTC, which can be used
to confi gure and program manual nutrunners (Tensor S)
and automated nutrunners (PowerMACS). This program
gives a current overview to anyone interested in
assembly events on the line. The user can track in realtime
on his/her PC monitor which nutrunner is active
and how the assembly process looks in the
manufacturing segment in question.

The Tensor DL Controller—the brain behind the
system. The DL Drive supplies the nutrunner with
power, controls the tightening process, monitors
assembly and guides the operator, guaranteeing fault
free work from the outset. The DL Drive is designed for
the interchange of data with external transducers and
the line PLC for the purpose of belt control. It can be
used with accessories such as an electronic socket
selector and an RE alarm.
