12. Quality assurance
The quality awareness is constantly increasing in
the industry. The keys for your ambition are setting
the right torque on all your power tools, calibration
of transducerized tools together with static
installed torque after checks on your applications.
The industrially designed ACTA 3000 together with
the ToolsTalk ACTA software provide you with one
tool management and application management
system. All information of your tools, applications
and tightenings can be stored in one single database
and more important, is easily retrieved and
analyzed.
Our quality assurance and control systems are designed
specifi cally for ensuring that our customers can satisfy
the current requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO
16949. Every product that leaves a production line
should be checked and tested to ensure that every joint
was tightened to the exact specifi cations. Tightening
tolerances vary from one tool and tightening operation
to the next and depend on both product and the purpose
of its use. The many and often complex variables
require a system that is transparent, easy to use and
reliable – a system that eliminates the expensive
consequences of faults and guarantees fault-free
tightening performance in daily use. The combination
of a quality tightening system and tool database
guarantee peak tool performance.
12.1 The ACTA 3000 for statistical
evaluation of the tightening processes
Measuring device for recording torque, rotational angle,
number of pulses and speed. With large LCD display.
The device is equipped with rechargeable batteries and
is therefore suitable for mobile application. For checking
the correct torque setting of nutrunners in the
production line and the tool performance as part of
repairs.
Able to store up to 12,000 tightening values. Able to
manage up to 1,000 tools. Expanded statistics functions
and confi gurable display.
With serial interface for PC communication and printer
interface. Automatic calibration with all Atlas Copco
transducers. This design has a graphic function and can
record, display and print out tightening curves.
