While perf<strong>or</strong>mance improvements are not always larger than that obtained with the complete data<br />

set (except f<strong>or</strong> the kNN model), f<strong>or</strong> all three classification approaches we demonstrate some<br />

improvement using the BaFL-pipeline generated values and any <strong>of</strong> the candidate gene lists. We<br />

do see a large perf<strong>or</strong>mance gain associated with the removal <strong>of</strong> uninf<strong>or</strong>mative ProbeSets f<strong>or</strong> the<br />

LDA model. The fact that there is no loss, and in some cases a gain, in perf<strong>or</strong>mance with a ten-<br />
