Motorola GPS Products M12 Oncore User’s Guide Supplement Revision 1.0 01/25/00 VISIBLE SATELLITE STATUS This command requests the results of the most current satellite alert computation. The response message gives a summary of the satellite visibility status showing the number of visible satellites, the Doppler frequency and the location of the currently visible satellites (up to 12 satellites). The reference position for the most recent satellite alert is the current position coordinates. Note that these coordinates may not compare to the GPS receiver’s actual position when initially turned on, since the GPS receiver may have moved a great distance since it was last used. Default mode: Polled 42
