How does it work?
The system works by advanced speech detection.
Vowels - the sounds that most clearly mark the
presence of speech - have two main characteristics:
harmonics and synchronous energy.With the
VoiceFinder, you are ensured that surrounding
sounds are constantly monitored for these
characteristics.When detected,VoiceFinder gives
you optimal speech understanding. It is only when
harmonics and synchronous energy haven’t been
present for a short while,VoiceFinder switches to a
comfort mode and gently tunes out background
noise.
