Why Engage in Advocacy?
There are many reasons to engage in advocacy. The most
important from a civil society perspective are:
(a) to solve specific problems through concrete changes in
public policies and programs;
(b) to strengthen and empower civil society;
(c) to promote and consolidate democracy.
