THE DDC 52n AND DDC 62n
DIGITAL DOCUMENT COPIERS
The DDC 52n and DDC 62n have been designed first and foremost
as digital walk-up copiers with all the speed, quality and reliability
needed for a high duty-cycle environment. HiKIS then added the
intelligence, connectivity and compatibility of a networked printer,
as well as an impressive complement of document finishing
capabilities, creating a powerful document production
tool for the modern office.
COPY EASE
With the DDC 52/62n series, walk-up
copying couldn’t be easier. The intuitive
touch screen display provides easy access
to the wealth of digital imaging features,
including the kind of versatile document
finishing options usually found on far more
expensive copiers. The Scan Once, Print
Many technology allows users to produce
as many as 999 copy sets from a single
scan of the original document, improving
reliability and machine uptime.
The Trayless Automatic Duplexing uses
the DDC 52/62n’s memory to store images
and produce duplex copies without intermediate
stacking or counting originals,
giving you two-sided copies faster and
more reliably.
NETWORK PRINTING POWER
The DDC 52n and DDC 62n gain their
digital/network printing ability with
the addition of the Fiery ® X2 RIP from
EFI. This high performance, RISC-based
print controller
provides fast
600 x 600 dpi
printing up to
11"x17".

multi-tasking Intuitive, easy-to-use print drivers simplify
document finishing.

Hitachi’s intuitive print drivers allow you to create complex documents with
a variety of signatures with a single click. Select from a menu of pre-defined
document profiles, or create your own by combining the features you need.
The most commonly used functions are conveniently located on the driver’s
opening screen. Key functions are described with graphic icons, so it’s easy to
visualize the final form of your document. The mixed paper function gives you simple
control over the paper source, allowing individual pages to be pulled from different
bins for letterhead, cover sheets, or colored paper inserts.
