The AKH series is similar to the AK but uses a heat pump system instead of a traditional displacement hot water 

tank. The fresh water brewing system only delivers the poured amount of water. Our heat pump system gives 

consistently great coffee without any recovery time between brews. The energy efficient value of the machine is 

that it is only “on” when brewing – reducing energy costs.

your product and business. It identifies you, your products, your equipment and your quality. This 

can also protect your investment from theft. Invest in your client’s too, we also co-brand, put your client’s 

logo on the brewer along side yours, and watch the appreciation and excitement it creates. 

Pick Your Brewer and Dispenser: 

Choose what brewer or coffee dispenser you would like to customize. We have brewers that fit all applications, small pour over and 

automatic brewers for office locations to large commercial models that support the volume of C-store 

and restaurant environments. Then match your serving vessel. 

Stock Designs: 

We offer several generic design styles (shown left) that can be chosen and applied. This makes 

for a fast enhancement to any vessel or brewer faceplate. One catch...no customizing, but 

no set-up fee just the label cost. *Want our style with your name...no problem, we’ll make 

it custom just for you. (See “Custom” section below) 

Need Custom Labels: 

We’ll customize it! You can create a quick custom look simply by adding your company 

name and/or logo to any of our stock designs. For a more dramatic approach, create a 

design from scratch. Choose to work with one of Newco’s graphic designers to create 

the look and feel you want from your private label; or have us email the template(s) 

you need for your design team to complete. One time set-up fee per label of $150 applies, and then it’s simple, just the cost of

MASTERCARD/VISA/DISCOVER: requires an account number, 

expiration date and name. Card acceptance must be confirmed prior 

to shipment. 

COD: Cashiers check or money order is required on purchases over $500. 

Specific fees as established by our commercial carrier will be included 

in the total amount to be remitted. 

PREPAYMENT: May be remitted in the form of company check or wire

ORDERING INFORMATION: We require written confirmation on all

FREIGHT CHARGES: Are customers responsibility and billed on Newco’s 

invoice. Freight free on 1000 lbs or more shipped to same location in 

continental USA. Brewer orders weighing 2000 lbs + and shipping to a 

single destination in the continental USA qualifies for a 2.5% shipping 

allowance to be deducted from invoice. 

MINIMUM ORDER: A minimum order of $50 net. Orders of less then $50 

will include a $10 service and handling fee. 

BREWER WARRANTY POLICY: 

PRICES: All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. 

PRINTING: We are not responsible for printing errors. 

BACK ORDERS: Back orders will be shipped when available, and freight 

charges will apply unless the customer requests cancellation. Custom 

orders will ship complete when ready. If earlier, partial shipment is 

requested, then freight charges are the responsibility of the customer. 

DAMAGES AND SHORTAGES: Inspect your shipment immediately. 

The transportation company is responsible for the merchandise while 

it is in transit to you. Do not accept delivery where there is visible 

damage unless the condition is noted on your copy of the freight bill 

and signed by the driver. In the event of concealed damage, retain all 

shipping cartons and merchandise. Immediately notify your carrier 

and the Newco Customer Service Department. Most carriers require 

written notification of concealed damage within 48 hours of delivery. 

Any and all shortages must be noted in writing on the freight bill and 

signed for by the driver. 

RETURNS: A return authorization number must be issued by the Newco 

Customer Service Department in order for any product to be 

returned. Non-warranty returns are subject to a restocking fee. Our 

Customer Service Department can be reached at 800.325.7867. 

Be ready to provide: your company name, contact person, address, 

phone number, fax number, the product part number, serial number 

if applicable, exact quantity, invoice number, invoice date, and the 

reason for returning the product. 

Newco coffee brewers are warranted against defects in workmanship or materials, under normal use, for one year from the date 

of purchase. Liability in all events is limited to the purchase price paid and liability under the fore said warranty is limited 

to replacing or repairing any part or parts which are defective in material or workmanship, and returned to our factory, 

shipping cost prepaid. No warranty expressed or implied, other than the aforesaid is made or authorized by Newco 

Enterprises, Inc. Prompt disposition will be made if item proves to be defective, within warranty. Before returning 

any item, write, call, fax, or e-mail Newco, or the dealer from whom the product was purchased, giving model number,

utilize 240 V power for the tank heating elements and 120 V power for the control components and warmer elements. Dual voltage does not indicate that brewers 

can operate on either 120 VAC or 240 VAC. 

NEUTRAL: All standard brewers built for the North American market require a neutral wire. Installation without neutral may cause damage to the control 

components and will void brewer warranty. If neutral is not available, a step-down transformer should be installed by a qualified technician. The ground wire should 

never be used as a substitute for neutral. 

POWER CORD/WIRES: Brewers rated at 120 VAC are provided with an attached power cord with either a NEMA 15 or 20 amp plug, depending on unit 

rating. Standard dual voltage brewers are not supplied with a power cord unless specifically stated. A terminal block is provided within the unit for connection by 

a qualified technician. Unit should be connected in accordance with all applicable building/electrical codes.

HEATING ELEMENTS: Electrical voltage available varies by location typically falling in the range of 208-240VAC. Standard dual voltage tank heating 

elements are designed to achieve their rated wattage at 240 VAC. Therefore if the voltage available at a particular location is lower, the power generated by the tank 

element will be lower as well. Both the wattage produced and the amperage used fall as the voltage drops. A 240 V element will produce only 84% of the power at 

220 volts and 75% of the power at 208 volts. 

Some units have elements designed to produce the same power at the lower voltage. However these elements will draw more power if used at a higher voltage. 

Do not exceed the electrical ratings noted on the brewer.

BACK-UP POUR-OVER: 

Ensures continued operation in case of water interruption. 

AUTO-ARM: 

Pre-checks water temperature before brewing to ensure optimum brew temperature. 

VISA-BREW: 

Flashing safety light brewing lamp alerts user that brew cycle is in process and to precede with caution. 

BYPASS: 

Allows you to perfect your coffee’s recipe. 

MODULAR CONSTRUCTION: 

All bases interchange so the brewer height is adjustable. 

DIGITAL DISPLAY: 

Counts down the minutes and seconds remaining until the basket has finished draining. 

PRE-INFUSION: 

Wets the coffee grounds to de-gas fresh roasted coffee in the basket so that the grounds may be evenly saturated 

during the brew cycle. 

PULSE BREWING: 

Pulses your chosen water volume onto the coffee bed for ultimate taste profile accuracy. 

WATER FILTERING LIGHT: 

Offers service operators an opportunity to communicate added value to customers by indicating that fresh 

water is being drawn into the tank through the filtration system. 

FILTER MONITOR: 

Alerts the customer when it is time to change the water filter. 

AUDIBLE SIGNAL: 

Alerts user when the filter basket has finished draining. 

COFFEE MONITOR LIGHT: 

Indicates the freshness of the last beverage brewed. 

CYCLE COUNTER: 

Monitors the number of brew cycles. 

POWER CONSERVATION: 

Allows energy saving during idle time. 

SERVICE LIGHT: 

Indicates the appropriate time for scheduled maintenance. 

SMART BASE DESIGN: 

Thermal base designed to accommodate several different vessels by centering them directly under the brew 

basket. 

Brewer Construction Definitions: 

STYLE: 

Automatic brewers are connected to a water line. 

Pour-over brewers require water to be manually poured into the brewer. 

BREW OPERATIONS: 

Analog - The type of components that perform functions of the machine (i.e. switches and thermostat). 

Mechanical switches and thermostats with a capillary bulb are considered analog. 

Digital - Electronic switches, thermistor based temperature sensing are considered digital. All Newco timers 

and control boards are digital. 

HEATING SYSTEM: 

Tank Reservoir - Brewer has a hot water tank that maintains water at a set temperature. 

Heat Pump - Boiler system that heats water on demand and turns off after brew cycle. 

Flash Heater - Similar to a heat pump. Heats water on demand and turns off after brew cycle. 

WATER DELIVERY: 

Displacement: As cold water enters tank, it displaces the hot water and delivers to spray head. 

Dump Valve: A solenoid valve is positioned between the spray head and tank. When initiated, the valve opens 

and instantly begins to deliver water to the spray head. This system relies on a probe to refill the tank. 

TANK SYSTEM: 

Closed - A tank with a lid that is typically bolted to the tank with a gasket. 

Open - A tank system where the tank lid is not bolted down, or is held in place with either clips or by the 

brewer cover. 

VOLTAGE: 

120V - US voltage of 120V with all components operating on 120V. 

120V/240V only - US voltage with the tank operating at 240V and all other components running on 120V. 

Dual - A field convertible voltage between 120V and 120V/240V. 

CABINET: Refers to the cabinet construction. 

Non Modular - cannot be changed to accommodate different brewing vessels. 

Semi-Modular - can be converted to accommodate some brewing vessels and/or bases and risers can be changed 

to achieve different heights. 

Modular - can be easily converted to accommodate most brewing vessels and/or bases and risers can be easily 

changed to achieve different heights. 

ENERGY SMART: 

The brewer has the ability to be programmed to turn off or set back the tank temperature in periods of non use. 

Some models can be programmed to turn off the warmers. 

FLOW REGULATION: 

PDS - Brewer incorporates Newco’s porcelain flow control that delivers precise amounts of water to the brewer 

regardless of water pressure fluctuation. 

Flow Control - Brewer incorporates traditional flow control technology. PDS valve is an available option for 

these systems. 

BACKUP POUR IN: 

Brewer can be utilized as a pour over brewer in case of a failure in the automated functions (control board, 

water supply). 

FAUCET: 

Gravity - is connected directly to the hot water tank and is non-pressurized. 

Coil / Pressurized - is connected directly to the incoming water line with 15 feet of “coiled” tubing inside tank. 

The surrounding hot water from tank heats the water inside the tubing.
