It will use every power at its com- mand to destmy these intruders and escape. The Faceless One can be defeated if the char- acters separate the Annulus from' the phoulders of the foe. If that happens, the Facelds One drops to the floor and decays in four rounds. If FCs lack a magical sword capable of decapita- tion, a strong PC who.achieves a headbck while wrestling the monster can a@xnpt.to teer the Annulus free by sheer force; this quires a bend bars/lift gates Strength roll (one roll per round allowed).
