CAMP DENALI, Alaska ... A new<br />
veteran service office opened its doors<br />
recently in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley,<br />
providing veterans personal assistance<br />
and guidance in a variety of areas.<br />
The new office can be found in the<br />
Alcantra Armory, located at 3401 E.<br />
Bogard Road in Wasilla. This office will<br />
help veterans with issues surrounding<br />
health care, home loans, education, and<br />
disability and compensation, as well as<br />
assist with any specific personal issues<br />
that need to be addressed to the U.S.<br />
Department of Veterans Affairs.<br />
George Hausermann, one of the<br />
most senior service officers for Disabled<br />
American Veterans, is managing the<br />
office. He has dedicated the past 15<br />
years to service to the community and<br />
continues to provide veterans in the<br />
Mat-Su Valley with the outstanding<br />
service they have come to know.<br />
The new office is open from 8 a.m.<br />
to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and<br />
closed on state and federal holidays. To<br />
