Once an element is selected, all its subordinates get selected automatically, together with those that are
instances of the same geometrical model (for example, all bolts if they described by the same geometrical
model). To cancel selection of an element in the structure, clear the check in its check box by clicking
once again.
When selecting a subassembly (with automatic selection of all subordinate elements), selection of
just one specific element among the subordinates is not allowed. Such attempt is ignored, and a
warning is displayed.
When using this mode, a field is provided at the bottom of the assembly navigator window that displays
the total number of selected physical elements, and the button [Clear] that undoes all selections.
Import selected geometrical entities only. When this option is set, only the objects will be imported that
are selected in the list of assembly bodies. When using this mode, a field is provided at the bottom of the
assembly navigator window that displays the total number of selected bodies, along with the buttons
[Clear] and [All].
Selection of bodies is done in the right hand side pane of the assembly navigator window by using .
The button [Clear] allows undoing a previously made bodies selection. The button [All], on the
contrary, helps quickly select all bodies in the model.
As a result of using this mode, one resulting file will be created that contains all selected bodies.
Import Solid Edge
Import of Sold Edge parts does not require defining any parameters. An imported part is inserted in the
current document.
When importing from Sold Edge, an associative relation is maintained between the T-FLEX CAD 3D model
resulting from the import, and the Sold Edge source model. Whenever the source model is modified, the
external model imported in T-FLEX CAD can be updated.
When importing an assembly, a dialog appears that displays the structure of the assembly being imported and
the name of the folder in which the resulting files will be created. By default, the assembly is inserted in the
