Exporting and Importing Documents The assembly navigator window is divided into two panes: displayed on the right is the list of all bodies of the source model, on the left – the assembly structure in the form of the model three. By default, the whole model is imported. The check boxes provided at the bottom of the window serve for additional control over the import process: Import selected branch only. This mode allows selecting specific elements (branches, subassemblies) of the assembly structure for importing. As a result, only the selected elements will be imported. Two-Dimensional Design 696 Once an element is selected, all its subordinates get selected automatically, together with those that are instances of the same geometrical model (for example, all bolts if they described by the same geometrical model). To cancel selection of an element in the structure, clear the check in its check box by clicking once again. When selecting a subassembly (with automatic selection of all subordinate elements), selection of just one specific element among the subordinates is not allowed. Such attempt is ignored, and a warning is displayed. When using this mode, a field is provided at the bottom of the assembly navigator window that displays the total number of selected physical elements, and the button [Clear] that undoes all selections.
